Bursary Recipient Spotlight: Hlomla Nqeketo
For Hlomla Nqeketo, a first-year BCom in Financial Management Sciences student at the University of Pretoria, the first semester of university has been a positive and encouraging start to an exciting academic journey.
Reflecting on the semester, Hlomla describes the experience as one that has gone according to plan. While adjusting to university life comes with new responsibilities, having the support of a bursary has made the transition significantly easier.
“The bursary helped with my tuition, which took a burden off my mother’s shoulders and my own,” Hlomla shares. “That support has made it much easier for me to focus on my studies.”
